Support conversations hold the clearest record of what blocks users. How to turn Intercom and help-desk chats into product decisions.
Support hears it first
Before a drop shows up in analytics, someone writes to support. They describe the problem in their own words, at the exact moment they hit it. No survey gets that close.
Yet most of these conversations are closed, tagged loosely and never read again by the people who build the product.
Questions are UX bugs
“How do I…” is the most valuable message type. If many people ask how to do the same thing, the product is hiding it. Each repeated question is a design bug with a clear fix: move it, label it, show it at the right moment.
Group, count, link
Group conversations by what the user was trying to do, count unique accounts and link the group to the funnel step it affects. Now the theme has a size and a cost, and it can compete fairly on the roadmap.
Bring it into the team’s channel
Insights that live in a support tool stay there. Post a short weekly digest in Slack or Teams: top blockers, how many accounts, a quote each and the step they affect. Keep it short enough to read on a phone.
Close the loop
When a fix ships, tell the people who asked. It turns a complaint into loyalty and gives you a quick check that the fix worked.
Wirey reads support conversations continuously, groups them, links them to your funnel and drafts fixes you approve.
